Taylor Swift now has 122.6 million followers on the platform, second only to Indian singer Arijit Singh with 123.3 million followers, as per the latest data on Chartmetric. Many are linking her swift rise on the platform to a wider approval of her following her endorsement of Kamala Harris.

Supporters of former US President Donald Trump say that the rise of Taylor Swift’s followers isn’t so significant and amounts to only 1.5% of her total following. As per Variety, Trump supporters pointed out that Taylor has seen a decline in Spotify monthly listeners. They claim that since September 10, her monthly listener number has declined by about 3%, down 3 million to 91.4 million, Variety reports.
However, Taylor’s monthly listeners had been on a decline before as well, since they hit a peak of 116 million in April when she released her latest album ‘The Tortured Poets Department.’
