During her visit to Girls Inc., Meghan Markle gave a glimpse into her own struggles with a group of teenagers. She engaged with the teenager group and participated in arts and crafts, contributing to the launch of their new digital wellness program, Social Media U.

Meghan Markle spoke about her bullying experience.

The Duchess of Sussex, during her surprise visit with teenagers from Girls Inc., of Greater Santa Barbara, reportedly shared her own struggles and experiences with bullying, stating that she feels she is “one of the most bullied people in the world,” as per #HalfTheStory founder Larissa May, who spoke to Vanity Fair after the Duchess’s visit. Girls Inc. is a non-profit focused on empowering young women. It partnered with #HalfTheStory, an organization aimed at improving youth’s relationship with technology, to launch this initiative. Larissa May explained on the outlet how, “We did an activity where we talked through a bunch of different scenarios, and Meghan talked about being one of the most bullied people in the world. We had girls wave these little emoji signs and talk about how each one of these scenarios would have impacted them emotionally.”

The source claims that Meghan Markle never spoke about being bullied.

Meghan Markle made her presence to champion the initiative solo, while Prince Harry focused on other philanthropic trips. She spent time drawing and mingling with the young girls while supporting the organization’s digital wellness program, Social Media U, backed by her and Harry’s Archwell Foundation. However, a source close to the situation refuted the claims made by Larissa May to Vanity Fair, informing POST that Meghan never said anything like that. The Duchess of Sussex “talked about her experience with online bullying but never claimed she was the most bullied person in the world.”
