Hollywood star, who last worked in Avengers: Endgame, is all set to return to the silver screen with the American sports biopic Marty Supreme, working with Timothee Chalamet, who plays the titular role. The biopic, by filmmaker Josh Safdie with studio A24, will see Timothee Chalamet play the role of the ping-pong player Marty Reisman. The film is written by Safdie and Ronald Bronstein, who are also producing the biopic alongside Eli Bush and Anthony Katagas.

According to Variety, the upcoming American sports biopic Marty Supreme will mark Gwyneth Paltrow’s first on-screen presence after the 2019 film Avengers: Endgame. The project also reunites Safdie with A24, the banner that produced his earlier movies Uncut Gems and Good Time, which he co-directed with brother Benny.

Marty Reisman was an American table tennis player and author. He was the 1958 and 1960 US Men’s singles champion and the 1997 US hardbat champion. He passed away in 2012.
