The 94-year-old has garnered more headlines recently for this incredible billions-worth challenge, which one of his sons describes as “not so easy.”

The Chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, Warren Buffet, hasopted to leave his entire fortune to a charitable trust after his demise, which will be overseen by his three children – Howard, 69, Susie, 71, and Peter, 66. As per a report by the Associated Press, they only have ten years to donate the entire amount to their preferred charities. Howard Buffet, a farmer who will succeed his father as Berkshire Hathaway’s non-executive chairman after his passing, said, “It’s not so easy to give away money if you want to do it smart, if you want to be intelligent about it.” He even called it a “pretty amazing” opportunity. He stressed that he and his siblings would keep following their father’s footsteps and take chances while looking for opportunities to make a difference.

Elaborating on donating money to others.

Howard Buffet further clarified that he supports his father’s choice to allocate hundreds of billions of dollars and added that he will sit down with his siblings and they will “get it figured out pretty quickly.”

Charities to which Warren Buffet’s children will donate have not yet been disclosed.

Since 2006, the siblings have donated around $15 billion of their father’s wealth to their own foundations. However, the charities to which they may donate the amount given by their father have not yet been disclosed. Susie, as the Chairperson of the board, and Peter, as a board member of the Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, have provided $ 8.4 billion mainly to reproductive healthcare organizations. Howard G. Buffett Foundation promotes global conflict resolution and food security, and Peter Buffett and his wife Jennifer prioritize helping females worldwide and promoting social-emotional learning in schools. Warren Buffet will continue donating to the Gates Foundation on a yearly basis.
