During a recent appearance on the “I’ve Had It Podcast,” former US President Barack Obama praised the work of British pop star Charli XCX, saying her album “Brat” is a great album. He heaped praise on the pop star and even said that one of the songs from her album is part of his summer 2024 playlist.

Barack Obama recently appeared on the “I’ve Had It Podcast” and spoke highly of British pop star Charli XCX. Earlier this month, the former US president also added her song “365,” Brat’s final song, to his playlist. This is believed to be a significant deviation from his typical playlists, which usually feature more conventional music choices.

During his appearance in the podcast, Barack Obama declared, “It is a great album.” He said that people keep questioning him if he is actually listening to all the music, to which he highlighted that his daughters, “who undeniably are a little more up-to-speed on a day-to-day basis.” He also added that his young employees sometimes provide recommendations, adding that “Charli XCX, she knows what she’s doing.”
