Ketamine Queen and doctors would keep supplying him with the drug and take advantage of his vulnerability as a recovering addict.
“Chandler Bing,” an ever-so-famous character from the most popular American sitcom “Friends,” last year in October was found dead due to a drug overdose. Several theories since then have made it to the news. However, his case has picked up more pace, with a few people making headlines linked to his death.
A few people linked to Matthew Perry’s death.
A few people are found to be linked to Matthew Perry’s death, including doctors and North Hollywood’s alleged “Ketamine Queen,” as per prosecutors. They took advantage of his vulnerability as a recovering addict and supplied him with the drug that would ultimately kill him.
Five people were charged in the death case of Matthew Perry.
Two doctors, namely Salvador Plasencia and Mark Chavez, worked to supply Perry with Ketamine, said US Attorney Martin Estrada. He said, “Defendant Plasencia saw this as an opportunity to profit off of Mr. Perry.” Last year, a month before his death, Plasencia learned that Perry was interested in purchasing Ketamine and contacted Chavez, as per the court documents. Plasencia, in a text message in September 2023, wrote, “I wonder how much this moron will pay?” and also wrote that he wanted to be Perry’s sole supplier. Over the next several weeks, Plasencia purchased Ketamine from Chavez, sold vials of it to Perry’s assistant, and even taught the assistant how to administer the drug. Another person, Eric Fleming, close to Perry, started reaching out to an alleged drug dealer in mid-October 2023 to buy vials of Ketamine on behalf of Perry. The federal prosecutor said Perry was given “approximately 20 vials of Ketamine” from September to October 2023, costing him roughly $55,000.
The day Perry died.
Jasveen Sangha, aka Ketamine Queen of North Hollywood, ran “a drug selling emporium” in her home, said Estrada. Fleming said he obtained Ketamine from Sangha and distributed it, killing Perry. Kenneth Iwamasa, Perry’s assistant, injected the actor with Ketamine despite having no medical training. According to an indictment, Iwamasa injected him with at least 21 shots of Ketamine in the final week of Perry’s life. Iwamasa “performed multiple injections on Perry on October 28, 2023 – the day Perry died,” authorities said.
Matthew Perry, known as Chandler Bing on “Friends,” died last year on October 28 at the age of 54. His body was found floating in a stand-alone Jacuzzi at his Pacific Palisades home, and he died from “acute effects of Ketamine” and subsequent drowning,” as per the autopsy.
