A new debate is on the way; the Harris campaign also urges Trump to join in.

It is reported that the Kamala Harris campaign has accepted CNN’s debate invitation for October 23. The campaign has also urged Trump to join the debate, challenging him to the final showdown. Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign said that she had accepted a debate invitation from CNN to be held on October 23 and has urged Republican rival Donald Trump to be a part of the face-off.

Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign has urged Donald Trump to join the debate on CNN on October 23. It has challenged the Trump campaign to another face-off and take the stage with her, saying voters “deserve another opportunity” to hear from the candidates. The debate will be held on October 23, less than two weeks before Election Day, per a statement from Harris campaign chairwoman Jen O’Malley Dillon on Saturday.

Trump’s campaign is yet to respond to the request.

Jen O’Malley Dillon said. “Donald Trump should have no problem agreeing to this debate. It is the same format and setup as the CNN debate he attended, and he said he won in June when he praised CNN’s moderators, rules, and ratings.” However, the Trump campaign has yet to respond to a request to comment.

Trump previously clashed with President Joe Biden at a June debate moderated by CNN.

Trump clashed with President Joe Biden at a June debate moderated by CNN. This forum saw the sitting president deliver a calamitous performance, leading him to eventually decide to end his campaign and endorse Harris for the party nomination. Harris and Trump took the stage for their only debate so far on September 10, a showdown moderated by ABC News that had initially been agreed to by the Republican presidential nominee and Biden’s campaign. Trump delivered an uneven performance in the debate, and a CNN snap poll showed voters viewing Harris as a clear winner.

Harris’s campaign has challenged Trump to a second televised contest, and reportedly, she has said at rallies that she is eager to take the stage again. Harris said during a Georgia campaign event on Friday, “I’m trying to get another debate, but we’ll see.” In the aftermath of this month’s debate, Trump has ruled out appearing on stage again with Harris, insisting that he has already won their showdown and feels no need to debate again.

His latest directorial project, “Modi - Three Days on the Wing of Madness,” will also be screened at the festival.
