The debate will be held on October 23, less than two weeks before Election Day, per a statement from Harris campaign chairwoman Jen O’Malley Dillon on Saturday.
Trump’s campaign is yet to respond to the request.
Jen O’Malley Dillon said. “Donald Trump should have no problem agreeing to this debate. It is the same format and setup as the CNN debate he attended, and he said he won in June when he praised CNN’s moderators, rules, and ratings.” However, the Trump campaign has yet to respond to a request to comment.

Harris said during a Georgia campaign event on Friday, “I’m trying to get another debate, but we’ll see.” In the aftermath of this month’s debate, Trump has ruled out appearing on stage again with Harris, insisting that he has already won their showdown and feels no need to debate again.
